THE WINTER CIRCLET "A centerpiece you will dress again and again" We'll hand-bend layers of wire into a loose, irregular circlet - no two alike - and twine it with battery fairy lights. Tucked into the wire: three small small glass bottles, visible and delicate, holding water for a living vine that threads in and out of the ring. The center stays open for a candle, a bowl, or whatever you please. Your circlet goes home lit and finished and then it keeps working.
Add a stem from your garden in the spring, dried grasses in November, evergreens at Christmas. This is not a craft to be made once and put away. It is an armature: an object you re-dress with the seasons for years

Kathryn Leva will present "Fun with Flowers" and take us through multiple holidays and featuring arrangements that celebrate this wonderful, joyful and festive time of year. Arrangements created as part of the presentation and bouquets of flowers not used in the demonstration will be raffled off following the program.

Kim Cutler and Sarah Ruberio will escort us thorough the famous Chelsea Flower Show and several spectacular English gardens. These ladies are member of the Worcester Garden Club and accomplished floral designers who anchor the "Flora in Winter" at the Worcester Art Museum each year.

Our own favorite creator Marilyn Stivers has a project for us that will benefit the Southborough Public Library and the town's Tricentennial Parade.

Business Meeting and Southborough History Program
This evening meeting will be focused on Southborough's history as our Tricentennial approaches. Michael Weisham will enlighten our group with interesting facts and insights aout the flora and fauna of Southborough and its impact on the growth of our town.

Business Meeting and History in Bloom
Southborough Gardeners will create floral arrangements celebrating the history of Southborough inspired by art created by students in the Southborough school system. The art and arrangements will be on display at the Southborough Public Library from April 15th through 17th. We will host an opening night reception at a time to be announced.
Setup will take place in the afternoon on April 15th. Art an floral interpretations will be on display through Saturday afternoon, May 17th. Members must pick up their arrangements and assist with cleanup on Saturday afternoon.
